She completed her Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology training in Canada and a Clinical Fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Breast Oncology at McMaster University. Dr. Alkhayat has a strong academic and research background, with clinical interests in breast cancer, gastrointestinal oncology, and precision oncology. She is an active speaker at regional and international oncology conferences and contributes to cancer awareness and medical education.
