Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with the MEDGO mobile application, the official companion app for the Medinah Gynecology & Obstetrics International Congress (MEDGO 2026), operated by Top House Conferences.

What data we hold

The MEDGO App has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email, or phone number. The only data connected to your use of the App is:

  • A push notification token — a device identifier issued by Apple or Google that lets us send you congress announcements.
  • An advertising identifier and app events — shared with Meta Platforms to measure our advertising, where you have not opted out.
  • Local preferences — bookmarks and saved sessions, which never leave your device.

Option 1: Delete everything yourself

Uninstalling the MEDGO App immediately and permanently removes all locally stored data from your device, including bookmarks and saved sessions. Your push notification token also stops being valid once the App is removed.

Option 2: Opt out of advertising measurement

You can stop the advertising identifier from being collected at any time, without uninstalling the App:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — turn off the toggle for MEDGO.
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads — select "Delete advertising ID."

To ask Meta to delete advertising data already associated with your device, use Meta's own off-Facebook activity and data deletion tools.

Option 3: Ask us to delete your data

To request that we delete the data we hold, contact us using either method below:

  • Email: info@tophconferences.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request — MEDGO App"
  • WhatsApp: +966 57 350 2639

Please include the device you used (for example, "iPhone 14" or "Samsung Galaxy S23") and the approximate date you installed the App, so we can locate the correct record.

We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. There is no charge for this request.

What happens after deletion

Once your request is processed, your push notification token is permanently removed from our delivery system and you will no longer receive congress notifications. You can start receiving them again at any time by reinstalling the App and allowing notifications.
